TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #127 & FEATURES

WELCOME EVERYONE!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
I know you all probably noticed I have been away from blogging for a little while. Life has been pretty busy around here lately and I just had to step away from the computer to be able to catch up. I know you all understand how that is. :) Also, my little Etsy shop has been keeping me pretty busy and I am loving all the time I have spent sewing in the last few weeks.
I hope to be able to be back to full time blogging soon, but until then, you can always count on this little party to be up every week.
Lets take a look at last week features!

Michelle at The Painted Hinge shared a tutorial on how to paint mason jars using nail polish.
How fantastic is that?

Nicki at Sweet Parrish Place used chalk paint to give her pitcher a makeover.

Tammy at Taylor Made Homestead shared a wonderful and very easy recipe for homemade pancakes.

Kathryn at The Dedicated House remodeled her kitchen by painting her cabinets. Love the transformation!

A wonderful recipe for Cinnamon Caramel Popcorn was shared by Kimberly at Lou Lou Girls.

Judith at Botanic Bleu wrote a beautiful post about her trip to Whisper Mountain. Gorgeous pictures!

Fabby at Fabby's Living  organized her kitchen beautifully.

SUMMER FAMILY ROOM

It is hard to believe we are already well into August.
Summer is almost over, a new school year will start soon and before we know it, we will all be decorating
our homes for the Fall months.

It is hard to think of Fall when our temperatures won't drop from the triple digits. :)
And our home is still decorated in Summer colors.
Today I am sharing our family room. It has been decorated like this since last June.

TUESDAYS AT OUR HOME #123 & FEATURES

WELCOME!

Did you have a good weekend?
Ours was very nice, even with the high temperatures we are having. It is hot, hot in Texas! :)
Early Saturday morning, we made time for a bit of a home project and we spent quite a few hours
painting our upstairs porch.

It has sat empty since we moved into our home, but we are in the process of fixing that.
Now that is clean and freshly painted, it is time to start adding a few pretties here and there, but it will have to wait until our bodies stop aching from all the work we did this weekend. :)

Now, lets take a look at last week features.
Gail at Purple Hues updated her front entrance with flagstone.
Gorgeous!

Kris at Junk Chic Cottage re purposed beautifully some items for her home that she found at a yard sale.

Nicki at Sweet Parrish Place turned an old thrift shop tray into a beautiful piece for her home.

Terry at Forever Decorating shared with us how she solved a window dilemma in her home.
Great post and inspiration!

Lori at Dinning Delight added a bit of Farmhouse decor to her kitchen.
So pretty!

Janet at Sweet Inspirations by JP shared with us her mid Summer decorated window.
